Trujillo
National Park "Capiro y Calentura"

Day 1.
Transfer to Trujillo which once was the capital of Honduras in 1525. In the afternoon we take a historical city tour of this
site where Columbus landed and where the pirate William Walker was shot. We see the old cementery and pay a visit to the museum in town. You stay the night at Hotel " Villa Brinkley ", which offers a spectacular view over the bay of Trujillo.

Day 2.
Early morning walk into the deep rainforest of the National Park Capiro y Calentura. Take a dip in the crystall clear
water of a jungle river and enjoy the sound of the howler monkeys.

In the afternoon we take a short ride along the Caribbean coast to see the colourful villages of the Garifunas, the black descendants of the African slaves. Watch their traditional life and have lunch at the comedor "Caballero", where Pete, a former cruiseliner cook will server the best fish, lobster or shrimps. Overnight at Hotel "Villa Brinkley".

Day 3.Transfer to La Ceiba and end of the tour
